CytoFlora™ Study with Children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum DisorderBy BioRay, Inc.Stephanie Ray, Angela Sherlock, Tami Wilken, Teri Woods, CCN, CCH CytoFlora™ is a cell wall broken host of multi strain probiotics that has been shown to be very effective in correcting gut dysbiosis. The tincture delivers both an immune strengthening impact and the competitive exclusion effect which drives pathogens out of the gastro-intestinal tract without killing them and allows normal bowel flora to re-colonize. In a 35-day study of ten autistic children, Immunobilan testing by VIP Dx Laboratory measured levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA), an antibody found in mucous secretions that plays a critical immune role, and immunoglobulin M (IgM), an antibody found in circulating body fluid which is usually produced first in an immune response. Baseline results showed that initially all the children had elevated IgA and IgM levels, signifying an immune response to bacteria and a "leaky gut". After 35 days on CytoFlora™, results showed a 55% overall decrease in IgA levels and a 27% decrease in IgM levels. Parents of autistic children in this study reported a variety of symptoms at the start, including food sensitivities, yellow teeth, hyperactivity, lethargy, irrational tempers and moods, constipation, diarrhea, anxiety, lack of concern or interest in others or their environment, and an inability to communicate, both verbally and non-verbally. Participant benchmarks included parental completion of the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC) in addition to Immunobilan laboratory testing. 21-day ATEC scores also showed statistically significant decreases across the board, with a mean total score of 29.4, indicating an overall 30.17% improvement. Results revealed a 14.12% improvement in Speech/Language Communication, 27.14% improvement in Sociability, 20% improvement in Sensory/ Cognitive Awareness, and a 45.03% improvement in Health/Physical/Behavior.
"These Immunobilan Lab Results show why CytoFlora is a relevant addition for anyone interested in supporting GI and immune health."
